Bee hives, termite mounds and ant colonies have in common a totally controlled reproductive mandate hierarchy characterized by the rule that only one biologically favored individual in the collective is allowed to mate and bear offspring while thousands of her sisters remain barren for the duration of their lives.
The statist mentality among some human beings greatly admires this kind of arrangement and wish to emulate it at the expense of their brothers and sisters in every way possible.
They think that society should be planned and controlled just like an ant colony; a centralized mandated hierarchy of favored individuals who take it upon themselves to plan the lives and fate of millions for the so-called greater good of the collective.
The statist maintains that individuals, (excepting themselves), are for the most part disposable, expendable and usable to further the objectives of the collective and never to fulfill their own lives and aspirations.
The collective is the greater good. The greater good is far more important than an individual in the mind of the statist. At least that is the consciously created deception they want their slave colonies of individuals to accept.
Though the statist oriented planned society has failed miserably every time it has been implemented, the statists who create such misery won’t go away. They won’t give up. As far as they are concerned the statist deception still works and they are absolutely right about that. Billions of people on planet Earth simply allow themselves to be enslaved by statists. That is the history of civilization.
Communism in the nation of China, for example, beginning in 1949 under the statist leader Mao Zedong failed miserably, and only recently are the Chinese communists starting to realize that free individuals are better for the health of the nation than an ant colony of slaves.
But they won’t go away. They won’t give up. They keep tweaking their planned collective for the purpose of obtaining the most benefit for themselves.
Yet it is obvious to any critically thinking mind that statism is just a cruel deception that doesn’t work except for the benefit to the statist bosses. There is no such thing as the greater good. There are only individuals.
Now a Chinese government think tank is urging Chinese leaders to start phasing out China's one-child policy immediately and allow two children for every family.
Can you imagine that? China has a National Population and Family Planning Commission. They actually think that they have the right to control the natural process of biological reproduction among billions of individual human beings.
The Chinese statist government has enforced a one-child per family mandate since 1980, and now after this form of statism is obviously failing miserably, they are about to decide if it should be relaxed to allow more people to have two children.
They won’t go away. They won’t give up. They’re simply thinking about tweaking the law to allow two instead of only one.
"China has paid a huge political and social cost for the policy, as it has resulted in social conflict, high administrative costs and led indirectly to a long-term gender imbalance at birth," concluded the official Xinhua News Agency.
The strict limits, reviled by many ordinary people, have led to forced abortions and sterilizations, even though such measures are illegal. Couples who flout the rules face hefty fines, seizure of their property and loss of their jobs.
The policy has worsened the country's aging crisis by limiting the size of the young labor pool that must support the large baby boom generation as it retires. It has also contributed to the imbalanced sex ratio by encouraging families to abort baby girls, preferring to try for a male heir.
"It has been thirty years since our planned economy was liberalized," said a Chinese shop owner. "So why do we still have to plan our population?"
Wang Feng, director of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy says of the think tank’s report: It says the government "should return the rights of reproduction to the people... That's very bold."
Yes, it is a very bold prospect indeed for the common slaves to even think about challenging the favored hierarchy in China’s statist ant colony.
